Procurement Manager

A Procurement Manager will be required to lead and manage the tasks assigned to them. Procure materials and services to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and delivery.

Job Description :

1. Ensuring the goods are of the right quality and ordered at the right time.

2. Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

3. Track orders and ensure timely delivery

4. Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases

5. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices

6. Handle claims and rejection settlement

7. Confer with suppliers to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action

8. Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating on pricing without compromise on quality.

9. Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.

Education :

  1. MSc food technology preferable
  2. Good Communication and Negotiation skills.
