2) Wheatgrass is a source of chlorophyll. It contains 70% chlorophyll, which is a potent health agent. It helps improve the general health condition and also prevents liver cancer, reducing damage from cancer-causing substances and combating colon cancer.

3) It is a famous antioxidant. Antioxidants are substances that help protect your body from free radicals which are unstable molecules that damage healthy cells. Wheatgrass contains vitamins A, C, and E which are all very potent antioxidants.

The kiwifruit mixed with wheatgrass combination is full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatories. Here’s the ingredient and how to prepare.
Ingredients

  • 4 kiwifruits
  • 3 tbs of Wheatgrass powder (preferably Urban Platter Wheatgrass Powder)
  • 2 tbs of mint leaves
  • 1 apple juice
  • spinach.

PreparationBlend the chopped kiwifruit with the wheatgrass powder and lime. Chop neatly the mint leaves and add ice. Add enough apple juice to sweeten and then serve!

The Eyeopener Smoothie: 
Alkalizing Green Mango, Banana & Wheatgrass

This smoothie is full of fruity flavor but also tart citrus of lime and rich spicy flavor of cilantro.

Ingredients1 banana fruit, 1/2 cup of pear, 1  cup of Spinach, 1 Cilantro stem, 1/4 of lime juice, 1 teaspoon of wheatgrass powder, 1/2 cup of unsweetened milk.

Preparation: Place all ingredients in a blender jar and blend until smooth. Then serve and enjoy!
