Tasty Maca Root Truffles
Maca Root is a Peruvian superfood that is said to increase fertility and boost energy! This fun recipe gives this superfood a new avatar and makes it easily snackable. One Maca Root truffle a day, will surely keep the doctor away!

Ingredients
- 1 cup Almonds
- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 2 tbsp Maca Root Powder
- 2 tbsp Peanut Butter
- 7 to 8 Medjool Dates
Instructions
- In a food processor, add the almonds and grind into coarse crumbs. Make sure that you don't grind the almonds into a very fine powder as this will affect the texture of the truffles.
- Add the cocoa powder, maca root powder, peanut butter and dates.
- Blend again to form a crumbly and sticky mixture. You should be able to bring the mixture together in your hands.
- Transfer the truffle mixture to a bowl and set aside.
- Form 30 g truffles or laddoos with the mixture and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Enjoy as a healthy snack in the morning for the perfect beginning to your day.
