  • In a large bowl, add the flour, salt, and beetroot powder and mix well to combine.
  • Add the water and oil and using a fork, disperse the water to form a sticky dough.
  • Dust a flat surface with flour and transfer the dough onto it.
  • Knead the dough for 8 to 10 minutes, dusting with flour if the dough becomes to sticky.
  • Once the dough is at a stiff consistency, transfer to a bowl, cover with a cloth and refrigerate for an hour.
  • The refrigeration will relax the dough and wil make it easy for you to roll it out into pasta.
  • Using a pasta machine, use it to roll out the dough into a thin sheet and then cut it into your desired shape.
