This 4-ingredient recipe is hassle-free, and deliciously tasty and creamy. If you're bored of eating dates the old way, we encourage you to try this fun take on a healthy Iftaar snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Dates
  • ½ cup Date Syrup
  • 1 pack Coconut Cream
  • 1 tbsp Tahini Paste

Instructions

  • In a food processor, add the soft dates and date syrup. Grind the dates into a smooth paste.
  • Add Tahini and Coconut cream to the date paste and grind again into a smooth mixture.
  • Set a fine mesh strainer over a freezer proof container and strain the ice-cream mixture into the container.
  • Place the container into a freezer for 5 to 6 hours. For the first 2 hours, we will stir the ice cream mixture every 30 minutes.
  • Stirring the ice cream mixture in the initial stages of freezing will ensure that ice crystals don’t form in the ice cream and we get a smooth texture.
  • After the initial 2 hours, cover the ice cream mixture and freeze until solid.
  • Scoop the ice cream into your desired bowls and top with date syrup and white sesame seeds.
