Orange Blossom water is delicate yet highly aromatic foral water. But what is orange blossom water? It is a water extracted from the distillation of the flowers of bitter orange trees. These trees are also called bigarade or sevilleoranges or boosfeyr in Lebanon. Sip on a delicious mazaher drink by making what the Lebanese call “white coffee”. It is in fact more like a simple tea of hot water infused with orange blossom water, made even better with a touch of sugar or honey. Chill the mixture and pour ice cubes to make an excellent iced orange blossom water in summer. This is the flavour that makes Lebanese baklawa the best in its class.
