Bindumathi Devi Tata from the banks of the Godhavari meticulously blends and pounds cloves, cinnamon, khaskhas, nutmeg and her family secrets to create a sensational taste while reciting tales of the holy Godhavari river.
Key Ingredients – Cloves, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Coriander Seeds, Khas Khas, Nutmeg, Rice Grains
Recipe – Marinate egg plant with a paste made of ginger, garlic, onion, green chili, salt and red chili powder for 15 to 30 minutes. Shallow fry in oil till a golden brown colour. Pour water and boil till it is cooked. After it is cooked, sprinkle two teaspoons of the East Godhavari spice blend. Cook and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
