Pasta- Also commonly used to refer to the variety of pasta dishes, pasta is typically a noodle made from an unleavened dough of a durum wheat flour mixed with water or eggs and formed into sheets or various shapes, then cooked by boiling or baking. It can also be made with flour from other cereals or grains.Though there are many different types of pasta, most can be categorised into groups by shape. These groups can tell you what sauces or dishes a specific pasta would go best with. Pairing sauce to the right shape of pasta is important when the goal is to make a full and flavourful meal.
